On September 26, 2012, a jury in the County Court of Lee County in Tupelo, Mississippi, returned a verdict in favor of Yvonne Ivy against Discount Tobacco Enterprises, Inc. d/b/a Discount Tobacco Shop/Barley Court Store for Ms. Ivy’s slip and fall claim. The jury awarded Ms. Ivy $25,326.76 in medical expenses and $1,300.00 for pain and suffering. The jury apportioned five percent (5%) of the fault to Ms. Ivy.
